The onions are coming up! I started onions and leeks indoors for the first time in my life two weeks ago, and wondered whether there was any hope given that I have no south-facing windows. When summer hit this week, I started bringing the trays outside for the day to enjoy the 20+ degrees and full sun. Yet still no change. On the verge of giving up, yesterday morning I caught a glimpse of green. I had to look twice. Onion?? Onion! While I await signs of life from the other 599 seeds that I planted, it's time to update my blog. New farmy and foody posts coming soon. promise.
